O.M.G - My hiatus

Oh my goodness. It's been like exactly one year (+ 2 days) I've not blogged on Falisha's blog. I feel so sorry for myself (and Falisha) F. From where I last blogged about her, Falisha has grown from a lil' bb going on toddlerhood and right now she's in the 'official toddlers club'. How time flies, my lil' baby has grown. I so wish she can stay in this state and always be my baby.

Alot of things had happened during this last one year. Because of Falisha, I've somehow acquired a new hobby: Photography. Simply lurvin it and will need to practice, practice & practice. There's a whole lot more to learn, but I will try my best to make the best out of it. Being an 'aspiring' photographer Mama, I guess from now on, this blog will be alot more like a photoblog. Hahaha. More posts to come, I promise.

A couple of days ago, I've completed a few new BigMama's hair accessories creation so I put it on Falisha to model for me. While snapping as many shots as I can as she's moving here and there, I realised this nottie lil' gurl knows that I'm taking pictures and she gave me some funny faces! hahaa...

I was surprised when her daddy came back one day with a Nike shoe box and passed to me. Though he's not into baby stuff shopping etc, he said it was love at first sight. Good choice wor, i lurve it & so did Falisha! *Hugz* Daddy :)

Time really flies! Falisha can walk already at 12mths old, I'm so happy! LOL...seeing back these photos i snapped recently really made me realise that she's grown so big already. Oh my...

Cooking for my lil' one

Now that I've been a temp SAHM for a couple of weeks, the least i can do is to cook for my lil' one. Normally it will be my maid who cooks her food when i'm away to work. Now that I'm at home, of course I'll be the one who handles Falisha's food! hehe...other ppl cook and Mummy's cooking (with love) is different loh... I've always lurved cooking, but due to some reasons, I've got to go to my mum's house every single day just to send resumes and check emails to look for jobs. Sighs. So I will cook for Falisha then leave the house in the early afternoon then be back home early evening.

Anyways, back to the cooking topic, I think this is one of Falisha's favourite porridge version. heh.

Ingredients
Chicken thigh meat (cut into small chewable pcs)
Pumpkin (Steamed but not too soft)
Baby (thai) asparagus (cut into small pcs)
Soup stock
Ikan bilis powder
Sesame oil

It's been a while I haven't posted or update Falisha's growth etc. I shall update bit by bit. Hahaa...this was taken when Falisha's Daddy went for Friday's prayers at the mosque. So while waiting for her Daddy, she felt bored so decided to find something to do. LOL

Last month I brought Falisha to my good fren Rosie's place for a quick swim. How nice the weather was! hehe...most importantly, it was Falisha's 1st time using her mushroom and caterpillar float. It was nice cute! hahaa...she really enjoyed herself and was so excited and kept kicking her legs and used her hands to piak the water and onto her face. Hahaha..

O.N.E - TOOTH Falisha

Falisha has finally grown one tooth! Hehe...it's just so hard to snap a nice photo of her 'exposing' her one tiny tooth! I had to keep making her laugh and play with her at the same time so she'll laugh and open up her mouth. Haha...and finally, here it is.

S.C.A.R.E.D But Not Scared

Hahaa...this was Falisha's 1st outdoor swim last month. She was pretty scared and yet she wants to play with the water. Freaked out a lil' when we let her sit down at the poolside. POOLSIDE only leh...haha. Later on when she 'warmed' up she was happily kicking away when we held her partially in the water. This girl ah~! LOL

Falisha the M.A.C.D.O.N.A.L.D BB

Recently, I discovered Falisha has this new talent. When i 'scolded' her not to do certain things like licking her hands, the sides of her cot, eating the TV remotes etc, she will show me a face like action wanna cry, and her eyes started squinting and look very pitiful. Hahaa...it's was hilarious and entertaining! I had a gooood laugh on that man. Haha...she can act! haha...reminds me of the McDonald's Baby as we call it :)

Not-so-creepy CR.A.W.L.E.R

Recently Hubs has been asking where to get this ABC mat for our lil' crawler. We went so many places, at last! Found it at Toy 'R' Us! Hehehe...Falisha seems to like it ok, but she lurves to crawl 'out' of the boundaries more! Hahaha...

Falisha is S.E.V.E.N months already!

Falisha has turned 7months over the weekend! So fast...let's see her 'added' milestone now.

She is able to:
- Sit on her own
- Crawl on the bed
- Crawl on the normal hard-tiled floor
- Eat bread (lots of it)
- Eat Mac's ice cream (haha)
- Make noise like 'mm, mm, mm' when she wants more ice cream
- Eat semi-solids like potato/avocado puree & cereal of course
- Eat 2 meals of semi-solids per day now
- Drink around 150-180ml of formula milk per feed
- Laugh out loud
- Attempt to scratch her ear
- Throw things (her toys) on her floor
- Hold out her hands when she wants me to carry her
- Grunt/scream if she's unhappy (for attention of course)
- Stand up while holding on to something for support
- Pull my necklaces
- Pull my hair
- Pull Daddy's chest hair (hahaaha)
